The boys had their 9 month checkup today. Can you believe they are nine months old already? With their checkup we have to rearrange them as they are now no longer easily sorted alphabetically, chronologically, and by size all at the same time. The doctor also said it is time to lower their cribs as they can now pull themselves up if the grab hold of the edge.
Cody is now the heavy weight of the bunch. He weighs
15lbs 15oz and is
26.5 inches tall. He is still eating like usual, and of the three he also has the largest head. Cody is continuing to ware his
cranium band 23 hours a day, and will likely need it for several months to come.
Kian now weighs 15lbs 2oz and is 27.5 inches tall By weight and cranium size, Kian is now the smallest of the three - although he is also the most vocal (he says "mom" and sometimes "dada"). Since he is eating pretty good, and everything else is going well we are not too concerned with his weight. He does not have a cranium band.
Spencer weighs 15lbs 5oz and is also 27.5 inches tall. When Spencer was in surgery they found he had a double hernia, which was corrected, and he is pretty much recovered. Spencer is no longer on oxygen during the day, and no longer takes any special medicines. Actually, since we stopped the medicine he has been eating more then Cody and Kian, which is a welcome change. We still work with him on it but we think he is doing better now. Spencer still has his cranium band (like Cody) but we think he will be done with it soon.
We have more appointments over the next couple weeks, and we will let you know how they do. Sorry, no new photos this week of the boys but we did post some a few weeks ago that you should check out if you have not recently.
http://www.squeaker.com/babycentral I have heard some people have trouble finding the new photos so I will work on updating the site and make a new photo section to easier to look through. That's it for now.
