Spencer joins his brothers at home!

We already knew this, but after our first weekend with everyone home (yes, we now have all three home!) it goes without saying.... Having three at home is a lot different then just two two.

Cody didn't have a very good checkup the first week we had him - not gaining much weight. Since then, he has been doing very well. He s currently at 7lbs 8oz and is eating rather well. It just took him a bit to get situated. He is still the little peanut of the group, but he is growing every day.hopefully this past week was better.

Kian is still eating like a mad man. We found out his wanting to eat all the time was the beginning of a growth spurt. He is now 8lbs 8oz. He is still on 1/32 liter of oxygen at home.  The doctor signed him up for another month with the nasal cannula so he could work on growing instead of breathing.  Hopefully when we go back in a couple of weeks he is big enough, and well enough they can discontinue the oxygen support.

Spencer was discharged from the NICU last Friday afternoon. After careful consideration, the doctors felt he was well enough to come home, and that he would progress better in the home environment rather then staying in the hospital for a few more weeks.  He was sent home on 1/2 liter of oxygen and without a feeding tube. We were fearful he may get a g-tube at the NICU but since he has been home he has continued to gain weight.  He is currently 9lb 11oz. Hopefully he continues to eat for us. It is hard for him since he has to take different medicines pretty much every 3hours for most of the day, and after getting some of them he is not interested in eating anymore.

I have new photos, but have not posted them yet.  I will try to do so in the next couple days and let everyone know.
